How Do I Upload Photos To My Iphone

How can I upload photos from my iPhone to dotPhoto?

Upload directly from your iPhone

dotPhoto.com works on mobile devices and can upload directly from your iPhone's browser.
When selecting multiple photos on an iPhone, choose the first photo and then lightly drag your finger over the other photos that you want to select. The key word is LIGHTLY. If you press down too hard, the photos will not select. See this video for a demonstration.

How to add dotphoto to your iPhone home screen

  1. Install the Chrome browserfrom the app store. The Chrome browser works best.
  2. Sign into your dotPhoto account.
  3. Tap on the Uploadbutton (tap on the word "Upload", which is a link.)

  4. Choose an album on dotPhoto, and scroll down to the Add Files button.
  5. Tap the Add Files button, and choose the files you want to upload by (a) selecting a photo library (b) tapping on the first photo in a sequence and (c) lightly dragging your finger over the photos in the sequence. You can choose entire rows at a time by dragging your finger down one side.

  6. Tap the green Start Upload button.

OTHER IPHONE UPLOAD TOOLS

1 . Wirelessly transfer photos from your iPhone to your PC, and then upload the photos to dotPhoto.

The Wireless Transfer App only requires that you have your iPhone and your computer connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Using the Wireless Transfer App, there is no need for iTunes, Apple ID, cable or extra software, and you don't need to install anything on your computer.

NOTE:  iCloud will NOTsync photos taken before iCloud is on.

  1. Enable iCloudon your iPhone in Settings, and turn on Photo Stream.
  2. Download the iCloud Control Panel onto your computer here:  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204283 From that point on, all photos that you take with your iPhone will be saved within seconds directly to your computer if you are connected to wifi. If you are not connected to wifi when you take the pictures, your photos will be synced to your computer the next time you have a wifi connection.

3. Use a cable to move photos to your PC or Mac, and then upload the photos to your dotPhoto account.

If you have a Lightning or 30-pin USB cord handy, importing photos onto your Mac or PC is easy and fast.

Connect to a Mac computer

  1. Plug your phone into your computer using a USB cord (Lightning or 30-pin, depending on your iPhone), the same way you would when you add music. It may ask you to unlock the phone.
  2. Open iPhoto, Aperture, or Image Capture, depending on what you have. If you are working on a Mac, then iPhoto should open automatically when you plug in your phone, unless you told it not to.
  3. In iPhoto your phone should appear under the Devices tab in the menu on the left. Click it and you'll see all your photos.
  4. If you want to import all the photos on your phone, hit the "Import Photos" button. You can also choose specific photos by clicking on them, which will set a yellow border around the selected photos; to select multiple photos, hold down the Command button on your keyboard as you click on the photos you want. Then hit the "Import Selected" button.
  5. It shouldn't take long for the photos to import. When the import is done you can find the photos in the "Last Imported" folder. From there you can edit, print, email, or move photos to different folders.

Connect to a Windows computer

  1. Connect your phone and allow it to trust the computer.
  2. A window will come up, asking what you want to do with the phone. Click the window and a menu will pop up. Choose "Import photos and videos." Doing this will open every photo from your phone in the Windows 8 photo app. From there you can choose to import all of them or only ones you've selected.
  3. Hit import and the photos will be saved to the photo app.
  4. If a window doesn't pop up when you plug in your phone, you can still import photos. Go to "Start" and choose the photo app tile.
  5. Right-click anywhere inside the app and choose the "Import" option on the menu that pops up.
  6. A menu will appear with all the devices connected to the computer. Choose your phone.
  7. Like before, it will show all of the photos on your phone and you can choose whether to import all of them or selected ones.
