USAA banking app returns with Windows Phone 8 support in latest update
After disappearing from the Windows Phone Store near 11 months ago, the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) cyberbanking app has finally returned with some new features and Windows Phone 8 back up.
The app was pulled in early 2022 and USAA afterward went on record stating at that place was simply non enough market share for Windows Telephone 8 to justify their continued support of the app. Since then, people who had the app previously installed could not even use it as it stopped working.
Today, version two.0 is live in the Store and with information technology Windows Phone 8 support, finally giving their customers the much needed choice. The app had been developed internally and was in individual beta testing for the terminal few weeks. Manifestly the company has had a alter of heart or Microsoft lent some elbow grease, as they are known to exercise for high profile apps. From the app description:
"We are re-introducing the USAA Mobile App for Windows Phone. The app has been redesigned and cracking new features have been added. Yous can now customize your My Accounts page or setup credit card travel notifications. The same dandy features you beloved like Deposit@Mobile and Quick Logon are now better than ever."
Indeed, information technology sounds like the app is what most people wanted from USAA and it's bang-up to encounter the firm render to Windows Phone. Banking apps are crucial to the success of Windows Phone, though it'southward difficult to wrangle them all to create native apps. The more, the merrier.
